The AI that actually saves time
This week we tried three assistants over five days of real work. One gave us back two hours; the other two, none.
1
What worked:summarizing long meetings and pulling out the tasks from each one.
2
What didn’t:writing to clients. Everything sounded the same, and it showed.
3
The read of the week:why small teams adopt new tools first.

And what you expect from a newsletter tool
The basics, done well.
Write it and test it
A block editor, templates to start from and your own, a preview and a test email to your own address. Before sending, it checks the subject, the unsubscribe link and the size, so Gmail doesn’t clip it.
Subscribers from your website
A form for your website: paste a snippet of code, or use the WordPress plugin, and every sign-up arrives with its double opt-in and proof of consent.
Bring your list
Import from Mailchimp, Mailrelay and others, cleaning out what doesn’t work: mistyped, disposable or repeated addresses, and anyone who already unsubscribed.
Sending in stages
New contacts get it a little at a time, and sending pauses on its own if bounces or complaints go up, to protect your deliverability.
Resend to those who didn’t open
With another subject, a few days later, in one click. And try two subjects on the first sends before it goes to everyone. “Didn’t open” is approximate, because some email apps open messages on their own, and we tell you so.
From your domain, and within the law
It goes out from your own verified domain (DKIM and DMARC), with a one-click unsubscribe and your postal address in every email, as the law and Gmail and Yahoo require. And every campaign is also published on your newsletter’s website.
Clear pricing, no surprises
Unlimited contacts and everything included on every plan: the only difference is how many emails you send a month.

We let you know when you reach 80% of your sends. If you hit the limit, your campaigns wait until you upgrade or the next month starts; sign-up confirmations and unsubscribes always go out.
You pay for the emails you send each month, not for the contacts you keep: the ones who get nothing don’t count. You start for free, with 3,000 sends a month, and move to a paid plan when you need it, from $12 a month billed yearly.
What happens if I hit my plan’s limit?
We let you know when you reach 80%. At 100%, your campaigns wait until you upgrade or the next month starts. Sign-up confirmations and unsubscribes always go out.
Do I need my own domain?
Yes: your emails go out from your domain, verified with DKIM and DMARC. It’s what Gmail and Yahoo require for them to reach the inbox, and it stops anyone from sending email in your name.
Can I bring my list from another tool?
Yes: import it from Mailchimp, Mailrelay and others. Only contacts who gave their consent, though: bought lists, no.
Where is the data stored?
In the European Union: the database and the sending of the emails, in Ireland.
How is it related to Kubo CRM?
It’s another product from the same team, with its own account. They connect: leads from Kubo CRM move to your list with their consent, and your sales team sees which campaign each one opened.
