How the math works
- Emails are contacts times campaigns. Each message to a person counts as one: a campaign to the whole list is as many emails as it has contacts.
- From each tool we take the cheapest plan that covers the case: its contact tier or email tier and its monthly limits. If a plan falls short, it is marked, not skipped.
- List prices as each website publishes them, with no promotions or welcome discounts, billed monthly and, where it exists, billed yearly. Kubo Mail’s are before VAT.
- Euros on the Spanish site and dollars on the English one, using each website’s own figures: no currency is converted.
- The cheapest plan of each tool may not include what Kubo Mail includes (users, removing the logo…), and the other way round. Each comparison explains it.
- If a case favors another tool, we show it anyway.
If your list is small: the free plans
With few contacts, look at the free plans first: their limits are very different.
| Tool | Its free plan |
|---|---|
| Kubo Mail | 2,500 contacts and 3,000 emails a month, with 2 users and every feature. It adds “Sent with Kubo Mail” to the footer. |
| Mailchimp | Up to 250 contacts. |
| Brevo | Up to 300 emails a day. |
| MailerLite | 250 subscribers, 2,500 emails a month and 2 users. |
| Acumbamail | 250 subscribers and 2,000 emails a month. |

Frequently asked questions
Why compare by emails instead of by contacts?
Because that is how Kubo Mail charges, and the tools that charge by contacts cap monthly emails depending on your tier. With contacts times campaigns, all five end up in the same case and are compared the same way.
Is Kubo Mail always cheaper?
No. In the first case of the table, with a small list and many campaigns, 3 of the four tools come out below Kubo Mail. When the list or the volume grows, the difference flips. We show it that way on purpose.
Where do the prices come from and when were they checked?
From each tool’s pricing page, linked under the table, on November 4, 2026. We check them again every three months at most; if you see a different one, write to us from the contact page and we will fix it.
What is left out of the comparison?
Everything that is not the price of the newsletter: automations, SMS, landing pages, integrations or a CRM. Some of these tools include them and Kubo Mail does not today; each comparison says when they fit better.
Can I try Kubo Mail with my list?
Yes: the Free plan includes 3,000 emails a month and up to 2,500 contacts, with every feature and “Sent with Kubo Mail” in the footer.
